Cutting on the fly – “Flying Shear”
This application was installed in 1995 and is the first cutting on the fly application with servo motors, carried out by a Greek company.
In these applications, the material is constantly moving and the saw, which is stopped at some starting point (standby position), accelerates and synchronizes in speed and position to the exact cutting length, as well as throughout the cutting, and then returns to the original position. waiting until the next cutting length arrives.
